Where in your cycle are you strongest? Your data will say.

Research on cycle phase and strength is mixed, and women differ. So VALDA doesn't start from a rule. After a few cycles, it shows how your top sets and the effort behind them line up with your own phases, and says plainly when there's no clear pattern.

It only reads phases you actually have, so it isn't shown for the pill and other hormonal methods that change your cycle. Tracking your cycle stays free.

Pregnant, and still lifting.

Pregnancy mode keeps your training log going and rates over 80 common exercises for each trimester from published guidance, showing you that guidance when you add one. VALDA stops suggesting heavier weights, and in the app your effort calendar switches to how sessions felt.

Questions

Women who lift, answered

Should I train differently in each phase of my cycle?

VALDA doesn't tell you to. Research on cycle phase and strength is mixed, and results differ from woman to woman. VALDA shows what your own training data says, and you decide what to do with it.

Is this a separate app for women?

No. It's the same VALDA everyone uses, with free cycle tracking added when you choose female on your profile.

Do I need Pro to track my cycle?

No. Cycle tracking, predictions, contraceptive schedules, pregnancy mode and the doctor's report are free forever. Pro adds the read of your cycle against your training, along with VALDA's wider Pro features.

Does it work with my watch?

You can log your sets on Apple Watch or Wear OS. Cycle tracking lives on your phone and the web.
