ValdaFREYA vs Flo and Clue

THE SHORT ANSWERAll three track your period and predict your cycle for free. The difference is what happens after that. Flo and Clue each keep some insights and pregnancy detail in a paid tier. ValdaFREYA keeps every cycle-tracking feature free, for good: observations, contraceptive schedules and pregnancy mode included, with no ads and nothing sold. It sits inside a strength-training app, so your cycle and your training live in one place; analysis of the two together is part of VALDA Pro. The table quotes each app's own pages.

Honestly

What Flo and Clue do that ValdaFREYA doesn't

  • Track without an account. Flo has a free Anonymous Mode; ValdaFREYA needs you to sign in so your data syncs between devices.
  • Cycle on your wrist. Flo has Apple Watch and Wear OS support; VALDA's watch apps are for workouts.
  • Share your cycle with a partner (Flo for Partners, Clue Connect), as part of their paid tiers. We don't, by design: your cycle data is never shared socially.[1][13]
  • A large library of expert articles, also in their paid tiers.[1][13]

Why ValdaFREYA

  • Everything is free, for good. Period and flow, predictions, observations, contraceptive schedules and pregnancy mode: none of it is held back for a subscription, and it never will be.
  • No ads, ever, and your cycle data is never sold, never used for advertising and never shared socially.
  • Extra protection where it matters most: on top of standard encryption, your cycle data is encrypted field by field.
  • Your cycle sits next to your training. If you lift, it's one app instead of two.
  • You decide what a coach sees, one step at a time, and you can take it back whenever you like.
  • Built in the UK, with your data held in a UK (London) database.
About ValdaFREYA
Questions

ValdaFREYA vs Flo and Clue, answered

Is ValdaFREYA really free?

Yes. Every cycle feature is free forever: period and flow logging, observations, predictions, contraceptive schedules and pregnancy mode. VALDA Pro covers training analytics, including how your training lines up with your cycle, but never cycle tracking itself.

Does VALDA sell my cycle data?

No. VALDA doesn't run ads and never sells data. Cycle data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and it is never shared socially.

Can I use ValdaFREYA without an account?

No. You need a VALDA account so your data syncs between your phone and the web. If anonymous use matters most to you, Flo offers a free Anonymous Mode.

Can I move my history from Flo or Clue?

Not yet. VALDA can't import cycle history from other apps, so you would start logging fresh.

Do I have to lift to use ValdaFREYA?

No. Cycle tracking works on its own. The training side is there if you want it.
